At Afristores.net, we want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase.
Because we are a multivendor marketplace, each seller manages their own store, but all refunds and returns are handled under the AfriStores Buyer Protection framework outlined below.


1. Eligibility for Refunds and Returns

You may request a refund or return if:

  • You received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item

  • The item you received is significantly different from its description

  • Your order did not arrive within the estimated delivery time

Requests must be made within 7–14 days of delivery, depending on the product category and seller policy.


2. Items Not Eligible for Return

For health, safety, and legal reasons, certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, beverages)

  • Personal care or beauty items (e.g., cosmetics, skincare)

  • Custom-made or personalized products

  • Digital downloads or gift cards


3. Return Process

  1. Submit a Request: Contact us at support@afristores.net or use the “Request Return” option in your account dashboard.

  2. Provide Evidence: Include order number, photos, and a short explanation.

  3. Review: The seller and AfriStores team will review your request within 3–5 business days.

  4. Return Instructions: If approved, you’ll receive the return address and instructions.

  5. Refund or Replacement: Once the returned item is received and verified, a refund or replacement will be processed.


4. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are usually issued within 5–10 business days via your original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.


5. Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to seller error or damaged goods, the seller covers return shipping.

  • If the return is for buyer preference (e.g., wrong size or color), the buyer covers shipping.


6. Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it is shipped. Once dispatched, the order is subject to the return policy above.


7. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between buyer and seller, AfriStores will mediate and make a fair determination based on the evidence provided by both parties.
